LC is a rapper from a very quiet area of the UK who has been in the scene for over 3 years. LC has talked about plans for a music video this month which would drop on his birthday in June. What to expect from LC is unknown. Will he come into 2023 with a bang? LC has only released one song this month which is called “Boys In Blue” which is a remix featuring Suspect and T.Scam from #AGB. Having browsed what people had to say about it, people loved the unique style from LC.
LC has admitted that his past songs aren’t good and doesn’t show his full potential in the music scene. We asked LC what his favourite song he’s released was and he replied “I honestly find it painful trying to listen to my own music. Most artists will agree with me. We don’t listen to our music on repeat as it’s weird. But my favourite song would have to be the Boys In Blue Remix as it shows my potential and what I can do with wordplay and my flow”.
LC has released many songs since he started making music, most he dislikes now looking at back of them. He also shot a music video last year with the song being called “Cobra” which got him over 2000 views on YouTube and over 400 likes on the music video.
Views quickly came in as the hype around LC was there. After the music video was released, LC described how people reacted to the music video. People said that the music video was top quality and that the song was decent. We asked for LC’s comment on the music video which he responded with “The music video is great itself, but the song… that’s a different story. It’s quite honestly terrible and what was I thinking releasing something like that.”
From what we have gathered from the comments LC has made about his music, he practically dislikes all his old songs and thinks that the version of him now is way better and people haven’t seen the best of LC yet. We also asked LC if he would stick to drill/melodic rap and he commented “I’m willing to explore other areas of rap. I don’t just make drill. In fact, I don’t really think I make drill. I have unreleased songs which isn’t drill and shows a different side of me which people haven’t seen before.” LC has also racked up thousands of followers on his official instagram page which shows that there is love out there for him. Towards the end of this interview, we asked LC what music he listens to which he responded saying “I mainly listen to rap music as it shows off talent. Writing bars is difficult and people don’t understand the time and brain thinking it takes to write a good song which is why I mainly listen to rap music as I respect what goes on behind the scenes.”
